Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey has publicly called out well-known NFL reporter Adam Schefter for breaking news about his return from injury.

Schefter, widely considered the top insider in the league, reported that Ramsey is expected to return to action on Sunday at home against the New England Patriots after sustaining a torn meniscus on his left knee during training camp last July that required surgery.

The 29-year-old refuted the ESPN reporter's claims, quoting Schefter's post on his response on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

"So this is why I just got a crazy amount of texts. Well, this is news to me... mfs don't care about being right, they care about being first in today's media. That's sad," the six-time Pro Bowl selection said.

The Super Bowl LVI champion joined the Miami Dolphins last March following a trade from the Los Angeles Rams. However, he has yet to participate in any games, with his absence spanning seven matches so far.

Ramsey wants to feel 'great' enough

Ramsey followed up by saying that he is still a fan of Schefter while confirming that his participation is possible on Sunday, but the decision has not been finalized.

"I have to go through a whole process to feel GREAT enough to play. I won't play if I feel any less than GREAT," the three-time First Team All-Pro added.
