It has been a month since the New York Giants found the football field's end.
The Giants last scored a touchdown on September 21. They haven't won a game since Week 2 or September 17.
Running back Saquon Barkley is one of the backbones of the team's offense, but even he was at a loss with their touchdown drought.
"Two hundred minutes?" he reacted when told how many minutes they haven't converted a TD.
He knows what needs to improve in the team, and he is central to it.
"We're not executing, we're not doing what we need to do," he told reporters.
"We get into the red zone, we have self-inflicting wounds, whether it's penalties or it's MAs (missed assignments), you've got to hold yourself accountable. I go back and I watch against the Bills, there's a run that I slipped on and if I keep my feet, it won't be 200 minutes."
To be fair with the Giants, the team is riddled with injuries, starting with left tackle Andrew Thomas's hamstring injury. Andrew hasn't played since Week 1.
Center John Michael Schmitz was out with a shoulder injury in the last two games, while guards Ben Bredeson and Mark Glowinski also missed time.
Barkley comments on trade speculation
Barkley came into the season demanding more from the organization, but the results were unfavorable.
Pressure is mounting on the RB, but he is not running away from the challenge.
His name is in many trade talks, but he insists his focus is leading the Giants to the postseason.
"Sitting here, everyone knows how I feel. Everyone knows I don't want to get traded," Barkley said. "I don't think anyone in their right mind would want to get traded anywhere. It's not an easy thing to do."
