San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle faced financial repercussions for donning a controversial shirt in their recent game against the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday, October 8.
The NFL has imposed a fine of $13,699 on the 30-year-old following his decision to wear a shirt featuring the phrase "F**k Dallas," according to league insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
The 49ers secured a resounding victory over the Cowboys with a final score of 42-10, maintaining their winning streak of 5-0 record.
The four-time Pro Bowl selection contributed to the win by catching three out of four passes aimed at him, accumulating 67 yards, and achieving a career-high three touchdowns.
The shirt caught the ire of Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, who warned Kittle and the 49ers that his team has something for them in case they meet again.

Kittle vows to wear the shirt again
Even before the NFL delivered their decision, Kittle was already expecting to be fined, but he appeared unconcerned about the potential consequences.
"I wore a personalized T-shirt, maybe an inappropriate word. Yeah, I mean, that's fair. It is what it is. It was a decision I made. If they want to fine me, they fine me," the 2019 First Team All-Pro said.
Yet, the former Iowa player maintains that he has no regrets about his actions.
"One hundred percent. I'd do it again," Kittle confessed.
