Los Angeles Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook presented a remarkable gift to a young supporter who was rocking several of his jerseys during their preseason game against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday, October 10.

The notable diehard fan was wearing four of the 2017 NBA Most Valuable Player's jerseys from his stints with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, and his current team, Los Angeles Clippers.

Noticing the dedicated fan, the 34-year-old acknowledged him with a wave before heading up to the stands. He presented the fan with a signed jersey, which he wore during the game. The young supporter was visibly delighted.

The supporter said that it was his first time attending an NBA game, and he shared some attributes that made him a fan of the nine-time NBA All-Star. He also called Westbrook the greatest player of all time.

An observer on social media commented to give the fan a Westbrook jersey from his time with the Washington Wizards, as it was the only missing piece in his collection.

The Clippers won the preseason game, 103-98.

Westbrook gives insight about the young fan

The Clippers guard gave his thoughts about the young supporter, stating he is grateful for the support of dedicated fans worldwide.

"I don't take any people that support me for granted. To be able to see that was exciting. I just felt like he should get another jersey, and I gave him mine," the former UCLA player said.
