Mixed martial arts fighters usually become cool with each other after their bout despite the build-up to it being unsavory due to verbal exchanges.
Sean Strickland revealed that he had an almost similar moment with Israel Adesanya, whom he defeated at UFC 293, but the latter whispered something to him he did not like.
The two were spotted dapping it up after their fight that ended in a unanimous decision in favor of Strickland. Before that, the pair engaged in explicit-laden verbal exchanges.
Many were curious about what went down, and Sean finally spilled the beans during an appearance at his The Man Dance podcast.
He stated that the Stylebender confronted him for involving his family, but he denied doing such a thing.
"He looks at me, and he's like, 'I would never make fun of your family.' And I'm like, 'Izzy, I don't know your family, bro.' I don't know if you have siblings," Strickland continued.
"I don't know f-k about you. This is after the fight. He starts pointing at his neck, and he's like, my f-king dog man, my dog."
Strickland calls Izzy the R-word
The exchange irked Tarzan even more, and now, he is pouncing on Adesanya, who he said needed help.
He thought his rival was going through something and needed some professional help.
"With Izzy, it's starting not to be funny anymore because as I'm starting to understand Izzy and his love of his dog, peanut butter and all, I'm starting to realize that he could have some form of mental retardation like there's something f-king wrong with this guy," he said.
"You know, so now it's just like I kind of feel bad like I'm picking on the r-ard kid at school that eats his boogers."
