Tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET, the New York Islanders (8-17-5, 21 points) and Anaheim Ducks (20-7-5, 45 points) faceoff live from the Honda Center in Anaheim in the first of two meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. New York fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action on 88.7 WRHU while Anaheim fans can do the same on KLAA-AM 830.

New York enters play on a nine-game winless streak and has lost nine straight road games while Anaheim has strung together two wins in a row entering tonight's game.

The Ducks latest victory came Saturday night when the team knocked off the St. Louis Blues 5-2 on the road. Tonight, the team is just glad to be coming home.

"It's always great to be at home," coach Bruce Boudreau said via NHL.com. "Our fans are really rabid and they're great. We're looking forward to playing for them. We got three games this week. Hopefully they're in droves and we can't wait to get home."

The Islanders haven't won a game since Nov. 16 against the Detroit Red Wings and haven't won a road game since Nov. 1 against the Ottawa Senators.

"It doesn't get any easier," coach Jack Capuano told the Islanders' website. "[The Ducks are] a big team, they're solid, good goaltending. But we've got to find a way to score some goals."

Islanders captain John Tavares leads the team with 32 points off of 11 goals and 21 assists while Kyle Okposo has eight tallies and 18 helpers for 26 points and Frans Nielsen has found the twine 10 times and added 13 assists for 23 points.

Ryan Getzlaf has paced the Ducks and has a 12-game point streak while racking up 36 points off of 16 goals and 20 assists while Corey Perry has a goal in four straight games and a six-game point streak while notching 18 goals and 15 helpers for 33 points and Dustin Penner has lit the lamp nine times and added 14 assists for 23 points.

in net, Jonas Hiller is 10-4-4 with a 2.60 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage for Anaheim while Kevin Poulin is 3-11-0 with a 3.15 GAA and a .888 save percentage for New York this season as Evgeni Nabokov (groin) is still sidelined.

The Islanders look for their first win since Nov. 16 while the Ducks hope to notch their third straight victory when the puck drops tonight at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
