Four-time Pro Bowler quarterback Andrew Luck could have easily returned to the NFL after abruptly stepping away in 2019.

It was an unfortunate end to Luck's pro football career, retiring at 29, struggling with injuries he had at the time, considering most saw the former Stanford Cardinal as a potential Hall of Famer, SB Nation reported.

Despite the untimely retirement decision of Andrew Luck, NFL teams still tried to woo him back into the league. The Washington Commanders reached out to him to see if he was still interested in playing professional football. Luck stayed retired.

Now, the 2018 NFL Comeback Player of the Year is back in the football mix but in a different capacity. He quietly returned to the scene to handle the Palo Alto High School team, The Mercury News reported.

But that is not all he will be occupied with.

Luck will also pursue a master's degree at the Stanford School of Education to enrich his knowledge further.

Palo Alto head coach Dave DeGeronimo revealed that Andrew Luck had contacted him about a possible job last year. Aware of what the 34-year-old brings, DeGeronimo is looking forward to working with Luck as one of the members of his coaching staff, Fox News reported.

"It's great to have someone of that caliber on your staff," DeGeronimo said. "The kids love it."
