Buffalo Bills team reporter Maddy Glab went viral on social media after her comments regarding wide receiver Stefon Diggs were picked up by a hot mic and blasted through a speaker in the press conference room during the team's media availability on Wednesday, September 13.

"There's no control over Stefon Diggs. Dude's gonna do what he wants to do. He'll look in my face and say 'F you,'...that's how he treats everybody," Glab said to a fellow reporter while others were waiting for the players to arrive at the podium.

Glab has worked as a team reporter for the Bills since July 2019, and she was previously an on-air talent and multimedia producer at the University of Tennessee for the past four years before joining Buffalo, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Maddy Glab apologizes for hot mic incident

The Bills reporter quickly apologized to Diggs via social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

"I am very sorry for what I said and meant no ill will. I respect the hell out of Stefon Diggs, and he has been one of my favorite players to cover," Glab wrote.

Glab also shared the context of her words, and she said them when the media was waiting for players to come out for the press conference, and a reporter jokingly told her to speak with Diggs.

And the remarks that went live was her response.
