The Philadelphia 76ers hold an uncertain future as far as James Harden is concerned. Most know that the 2018 NBA MVP is looking to jump ship, publicly declaring that he would not play for any team that has NBA executive Daryl Morey in it.

However, Harden may be pushing his stock too much at this point. He is already 34 years old, and NBA teams may not be too keen on handing him a hefty contract at this point of his professional basketball career.

Several personalities have given their take on the 10-time NBA All-Star. The latest one to join the debate is Rachel Nichols. The journalist/ sportscaster gave her take on the James Harden drama, pointing out that "The Beard" needs to be more realistic moving forward on FS1's Undisputed.

"[James Harden] still thinks of himself as the guy from that Game 1 [vs. Celtics]... He thinks he should be leading the show. The reason why he wanted out of Philadelphia in the first place is that it's the Joel Embiid show right now," the former ESPN analyst said.

Harden has filled his NBA resume with many individual accolades, except for an NBA title. He has proven to be a complete player, although it may be best for him also to realize that he cannot lead any team to an NBA title on his own.

The comments of Nichols echo the same take of another American journalist and renowned book author, Roland Lazenby.

"James Harden is that guy in American basketball known for dribbling by himself and attacking the basket and he can do it brilliantly. But he is starting to age. These guys... they are prima donnas...They age like everybody else," the 71-year-old scribe shared with this writer in a previous post here on Sports World News.

Harden is in a mess right now and was fined by the league $100,000 for the public comments made while he was in China against Morey. The NBPA has filed a grievance against this, disputing the sanction, ESPN reported.

Under these circumstances, seeing Harden suit up for the 76ers does not look promising, although he is left with few options.
