Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is struggling with his teammates, according to his wife Kelly.

She spoke in her own "The Morning After with Kelly Stafford" podcast, sharing that the NFL veteran is having difficulty connecting with his teammates after the Rams added an influx of youth to the roster.

"Matthew's been in the league a long time. He's like, 'The difference in the locker room has changed so significantly.' They have a lot of rookies on their team; they're very young. But he's like, 'I feel like I can't connect,'" the 2011 NFL Comeback Player of the Year's wife said.

Stafford's wife added young players nowadays go straight to their phones after showering, unlike before when they interacted with other teammates while doing activities such as ping-pong and playing cards, among others.

Kelly even shared that some of her husband's teammates call him "sir," but the quarterback responded by saying that "we're on the same level here," and that he is willing to get to know the new guys personally.

The Super Bowl LVI winner even asked the Rams's equipment manager to print out a book containing the names and faces of his new teammates to build team chemistry.

Stafford will enter his 15th season in the NFL and his third with the Rams. He spent the first 12 seasons of his career with the Detroit Lions.
