Tim Tebow News: Italian League Offers Four Month Contract For Tebowmania; Unemployed Quarterback Mulling College Football Analyst Gig? [VIDEO]

Tim Tebow has been offered a four-month contract by the Milano Seamen of the Italian Federation for American Football league, according to NFL.com.

"The offer has been made to his agent and now we're waiting for a response," Seamen president Marco Mutti told the website. "We would be more than happy to have him."

NFL.com later reported that Italian Federation spokesman James Dewar said the offer extended to Tebow on Wednesday to join the eight league team was worth $200,000. Tebow last played in a pro game during the NFL preseason with the New England Patriots before being cut by coach Bill Belichick as Tom Brady's would-be backup. He also previously played with both the New York Jets and Denver Broncos, enjoying his best season in Denver in 2011 when he passed for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Still, the Seamen may now find themselves facing stiff competition for Tebow's services. Several media outlets reported this week ESPN, CBS and Fox Sports are all expected to soon extend lucrative offers to the 26-year-old former Heisman Trophy winner  in hopes of enticing him to join their college football broadcast teams.

Tebow was also recently spotted in L.A. putting himself through a set of grueling quarterback drills, all presumably in hopes of earning yet another chance to make good on his dream of being a long-term NFL signal caller.
