Manchester United let go of David De Gea, their goalkeeper for 12 years and then signed Andre Onana from Inter Milan.
Manager Erik Ten Hag used to work with Onana in Ajax. He also played his best year with Inter last season.
However, for former Red Devils forward Dwight Yorke, the coach should not have looked elsewhere. He thought the club had goalkeepers who were ready for bigger roles.
"It's crazy that Chelsea had Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga and still want another goalkeeper," Yorke told OLBG.

"But we should've let Andre Onana go to Chelsea and Man United should've kept David de Gea and promoted Dean Henderson instead."
Yorke, who played for Old Trafford from 1998 to 2002 and won three Premier League trophies, also called out some managers who refuse to give chances to young players.
"If you're not giving someone who is supposedly England's next big thing in goal when he is waiting in the wings, when will he be promoted?"
Ten Hag is huge on Onana's skills
Ten Hag previously explained that the acquisition of Onana signals a new direction for the club and the quality of goalkeepers nowadays.
He said, "football also demands good playing from the back, out-playing qualities, and that is a quality Andre has. You need both and you need to cover both areas."
The Cameroonian goalkeeper surrendered two goals against Real Madrid a few days ago, but the manager defended his keeper.
"He made two very good saves, so he was there in the moment the team needed him, he did his job, he integrated well in our team," he told reporters.
