Everybody craves to be seen. That's true about almost any human in the world.

That is what Tom Aspinall feels right now after being shaded by UFC legend Jon Jones on the X app.

Aspinall came off a victory against Marcin Tybura last week, and many are now pegging him to be the next to fight and even beat Jon Jones because of how convincing his win was.

Bones, however, was not impressed based on a now-deleted series of tweets he launched after Aspinall's fight.

Instead of feeling sour about Jones' statements, Aspinall saw them as his bragging rights because Jones recognized him now.

"I'm definitely in his head; it's pretty good. That was my aim," Aspinall said in an interview with BBC Sport.

"I wanted him to know I exist. I wanted him to know I'm a threat. I wanted to motivate him. I want him to want to fight me."

While the fight with Jon Jones has yet to be confirmed, the British heavyweight is confident he can go toe-to-toe with the undefeated fighter (one loss via disqualification).

"I think I have to touch you once, like look what happened," he told The MMA Hour last Tuesday.

"I know Tybura and Jon Jones are two completely different people, I'm very well aware of that but he's a human being. I only have to hit one time at a speed that he doesn't see, and I'm really capable of doing that. It's not even a question, I can knock him out."
