Red Bull Racing team principal and CEO Christian Horner has responded to his Mercedes counterpart and bitter rival Toto Woff about the latter's claims on the Red Bull cars in the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The Mercedes boss previously stated after the Hungarian Grand Prix that this season feels like a field of Formula 2 cars competing with a Formula 1 car. Red Bull has won all 11 races this season so far, with reigning two-time champion Max Verstappen responsible for nine of them.

Wolff then praised Red Bull for doing the best job in the current technical regulations of the sport, which received a major overhaul in 2022 and will continue to run until the end of 2025.

The Red Bull boss did not take Wolff's slight jab lightly, saying their team did it by merit.

"You're seeing a whole team operating at such a high level. There is no silver bullet in F1 and it is always a culmination of factors that have to come together to achieve these kinds of results," the 49-year-old executive said.

It's all about the details for Red Bull

Horner added that it is all about the details in the way the reigning Constructors' champions are running. He added that the team is leaving no stone unturned at the moment in terms of strategy and pit stops.

The team made a 1.9-second stop for Sergio Perez in the Hungarian Grand Prix, the fastest of the season.
