Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Ottawa Senators (11-13-4, 26 points) and Tampa Bay Lightning (16-10-1, 33 points) faceoff live from the Tampa Bay Times Forum in the first of five meetings against each other this season. Ottawa enters a key divisional matchup trying to gain ground on a spot in the Stanley Cup playoffs after falling out of contention recently while Tampa Bay strives to hold on to its spot in the top three of the Atlantic Division.

The Lightning have scored one goal or less in six of their last 11 games and have been led by Martin St. Louis, who has 10 goals and 14 assists for 24 points while Valtteri Filppula has nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points and Teddy Purcell (seven goals, nine assists) and Alex Killorn (six goals, 10 assists) each have 16 points.

The Senators have had problems staving off goals as the team ranks 26th in the league by yielding 3.18 goals per game. The Senators will hope to reverse that trend while lighting the lamp against the Lightning in tonight's game.

Ottawa has been led up front by Erik Karlsson, who has 27 points off of seven goals and 20 assists while Bobby Ryan has found the twine 14 times and added 12 assists for 26 points and Jason Spezza has lit the lamp 10 times and added 13 helpers for 23 points. Ryan has four goals and six points in his last six games.

In net, Ben Bishop has stopped 124 of the last 128 shots against him for Tampa Bay and is 14-5-1 with a 2.03 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage while Ottawa's Craig Anderson is 7-8-2 with a 3.42 GAA and a .897 save percentage.
