Dallas Mavericks superstar Kyrie Irving has officially signed a five-year endorsement deal with Chinese shoe company ANTA.

The eight-time All-Star received the title of Chief Creative Officer of ANTA Basketball, allowing him to recruit and sign players and collaborators.

The "business partnership" will also launch the ANTA x Kyrie Youth Basketball Camps worldwide, with starting points in the United States and China, and bring manufacturing to the United States to start the shoe company's process to distribute in America fully.

Irving is expected to wear ANTA's Shock Wave 5 model to begin the season before launching the ANTA x Kyrie signature collection in the first quarter of 2024.

Notable athletes with endorsement deals with ANTA include NBA players Klay Thompson and Gordon Hayward and former boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao.

Kyrie Irving's Nike shoe line was popular

Irving's shoe line with Nike, launched in 2014, remained one of the most popular basketball sneakers among NBA players and the public in general during its eight-year run.

Nike suspended ties with the Mavericks superstar in November 2022 after Irving posted on social media a link to a book and movie containing antisemitic messaging. The Beaverton-based company officially dropped Irving a month later.

After parting ways with the brand, the 31-year-old continued to wear his Nike signature shoes during the 2022-23 NBA season, but he covered the Swoosh logo with tape and usually wrote messaging on it.

Last week, Irving claimed that Nike made over $2.6 billion in revenue with his sneaker line for the past seven years.
