Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Boston Bruins (18-7-2, 38 point) and the Montreal Canadiens (17-9-3, 37 points) square off in the first of four meetings this season live from the Bell Centre in Montreal. The game can be live streamed here. Boston fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action on 98.5 The Sports Hub while Montreal fans can do the same on TSN 690.
Boston sits atop the Atlantic Division and has had four games off while Montreal picked up another victory Wednesday night to pull to within one point of Boston's lead.
The Bruins enter the game looking for their third straight win.
"We had a couple bumps and bruises and the little extra time - because we've played a lot of games so far in a row - just to have a couple days in between, is kind of nice after last year having no days off and going that far in the playoffs," said defenseman Johnny Boychuk, according to NHL.com.
The Canadiens defeated the New Jersey Devils on the road 4-3 in a shootout Wednesday night and will look to keep rolling into first place in the Atlantic Division.
"We've played good hockey," David Desharnais said per NHL.com. "Sometimes it's not our best hockey, but we find ways to win. Confidence is up right now. Everybody is playing well. Everybody is doing their job. We're having fun. It's great."
Montreal has been led by P.K. Subban, who has 24 points off of four goals and 20 assists while Tomas Plekanec (nine goals, 10 assists) and Alex Galchenyuk (seven goals, 12 assists) each have 19 points.
Boston, meanwhile, has been led by David Krejci, who has 21 points off of four tallies and 17 helpers while Milan Lucic has lit the lamp 11 times and added nine helpers for 20 points and Reilly Smith has found the back of the net five times and added 12 assists for 17 points.
In net, Tuukka Rask is 14-6-2 with a 1.90 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage while Carey Price is 12-8-2 with a 2.00 GAA and a .937 save percentage.
Both teams look to finish the night atop the Atlantic Division when the Bruins and Canadiens faceoff tonight at Bell Centre in Montreal.
