Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the New York Rangers (14-14-0, 28 points) and Buffalo Sabres (6-20-2, 14 points) faceoff live from the First Niagara Center in Buffalo for the second of three meetings this season. The game can be live streamed here. New York fans can hear all of the action on 1130 Bloomberg Radio while Buffalo fans can do the same on WGR 550.

New York enters play having struggled to piece wins together consistently while Buffalo has been in an offensive drought as of late. The first time these two teams met the Rangers shutout the Sabres 2-0 at Madison Square Garden on Halloween.

Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist will get the start tonight after sitting for two straight games. The Rangers locked up their franchise goalie with a seven-year deal Wednesday.

"To picture myself anywhere else was just wrong," Lundqvist said via NHL.com. "In my heart it was never an option to play anywhere else. The opportunity to get to play with one club throughout your career is very special. I hope from here, personally, I can just raise my game."

Lundqvist is 8-11-0 with a 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.

The Sabres, meanwhile have scored one goal or less in 14 of their 28 games and coach Ted Nolan hopes they'll get it going.

"They came to work this week," Nolan told NHL.com after practice Wednesday. "We worked on a few things and we skated them pretty hard. There's no complaints. We needed the time. This was a great time for us to work on a few things, especially in the defensive zone and communication, and talking and getting to know each other. It was a good week."

Buffalo has been led up front by Matt Moulson, who has goals in two of his last three games for a total of 10 tallies and 10 assists for 20 points while Cody Hodgson has eight goals and nine helpers for 17 points.

The Rangers have been led on the score sheet by Brad Richards, who has 20 points off of seven goals and 13 assists while Derek Stepan has lit the lamp five times and added 14 helpers for 19 points.

The Rangers unit will try to beat Ryan Miller, who is 5-15-0 with a 3.05 GAA and a .918 save percentage.

The Rangers look for some consistency in their game while the Sabres hope to find their scoring balance when the puck is dropped at the First Niagara Center tonight in Buffalo.
