A Stipe Miocic-Jon Jones fight has yet to be confirmed by Dana White, even after the two fighters made their feelings known about seeing each other in the octagon.
However, it looks like Miocic is already preparing for a slugfest with the Brazilian legend based on what Anthony Smith saw during their meeting.
Smith shared that he met The Stone Cold recently, and he can't help but notice how the two-time Heavyweight Champ has jacked up as if he is preparing to see Jones.
He suggests Jones cannot underestimate Miocic now.
"The Stipe that fought Daniel Cormier the first time, Jon Jones probably manhandles," Smith said during an appearance in Brendan Schaub's Thicc Boy.
"But I had dinner with Stipe like three weeks ago and he is absolutely massive. [Is he jacked?] Dude, he's jacked! Like probably 255 [or] 260 like yoked yoked. Like in the firehouse, just lifting weights the whole time yoked. And he looks good, like sometimes you can tell when Stipe is mentally around or not."
Is Bones vs. Stone really happening?
Jon Jones was the first to look at Miocic as his next opponent, and he believed that fans wanted the fight and White would give what fans wanted.
However, there is little progress concerning this dream fight.
Ex-UFC champion Daniel Cormier is concerned this fight will not happen as the two get paired with different fighters each week, depending on what's trending.
UFC hasn't said anything about the two's showdown. Jones previously said that he wanted to fight the American by November, and it will probably be his last.
Fans can reserve their analysis and bets for now.
