The Damian Lillard era in Portland could be over soon, but only teams with significant assets can trade for him now.
This is after Dame Dolla requested a trade after spending 11 years with the Trailblazers.
For the Blazers, they will get not just Lillard if the price is right.
Michael Sotto of HoopsHype revealed that Portland Trail Blazers are ready to throw in center Jusuf Nurkic in trade packages for Lillard.
Some say that Nurkic, 28, is among the league's best centers and Blazers' second-best player if not for his injuries.
He possesses a good passing game and a three-game that comes with the toughness he can provide in an era where big men again dominate.
The only problem is how an NBA team can fit in Lillard's and Nurkic's $62.4 million salary next season.
Interested teams and what they can offer
Lillard said himself that he wants to be able to contend for the title. Among the teams looking into his situation are the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadephia 76ers.
The Heat are looking like the frontrunner for the services of the 32-year-old scoring machine, not only because of the hints given by Lillard in the past few months but also because of the assets they can offer to the Blazers.
Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report said the Heat are prepared to 'offer a package centered around Tyler Herro, with possibly Duncan Robinson and picks.' The two mentioned players would earn huge the next season.
The Nets have good tradeable contracts, too, like Ben Simmons' $37 million, Spencer Dinwiddie and Joe Harris' $40 million. However, the team might not still be able to contend, not enough for Lillard to accept.
