Kevin Durant has formed another Big Three with the Phoenix Suns after Bradley Beal joined him and Devin Booker to replace Chris Paul.

While many seem to think this is the best big three in the league, firebrand commentator Nick Wright does not think they break the top three. They are fifth below Los Angeles Lakers' big three.

This is another hot take for Wright, but his co-hosts were much more confused by who makes up the Purple and Gold's Big Three. Lebron James and Anthony Davis are shoo-ins, and the third one is Austin Reaves, an inclusion that leaves the other guys at the table feeling skeptical.

"At no. 4, Lebron, AD, and Austin Reaves. They are no. 4," Wright said.

Chris Broussard smiled sarcastically before quipping, "Does that qualify as Big Three? Trio, can we just call it as trio? Austin Reaves is not part of anyone's Big Three."

Wright conceded that Reaves is not part of a Big Three but defended the inclusion of the 2021 undrafted player since he is about to get a huge contract soon.

Reaves is getting paid

Austin Reaves played sensational last season for the Lakers, which is probably why Wright is looking at him as their next best player.

Because if his stellar play complements AD and Lebron, he is expected to get paid massively this summer.

An anonymous NBA general manager even said that the 25-year-old shooting guard could get $51 million if the Lakers decide to keep him, but $100 million from another team is not far-fetched.

"Someone is going to give him more than that ($51 million)," the GM said, as quoted by Heavy.com.

"The guys who got four years and $100-$110 million last summer (Tyler Herro, Jordan Poole, R.J. Barrett, Jalen Brunson, Anfernee Simons), he should be in that group. He will get a little less than them, I am sure, but he deserves just as much."
