Dallas Cowboys fans can expect a new and improved Micah Parsons this coming season as the 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year shared about new roles he has been working on.

Parsons has been spending a lot of hours in the gym, and he said that this is because of his goal to become more versatile for the team and be able to play multiple different positions.

"Y'all gonna see move me way more versatile. Y'all gonna see moving way across the line. In the line back . . . Y'all gonna see a little bit of everything," he said during an appearance at NFL analyst Brian Baldinger's show.

"I think Imma surprise people with some things. Imma do over some guard to center positions so it will be fun."

Parsons is a linebacker and he proved to be effective in that position for the last two seasons with Cowboys.

This could be interesting for both fans and rival teams since he already showed potential to perform different roles.

He stands at 6'3 and weighs around 250 pounds. Despite that, he recorded 4.39 speed which is at par with some of the fastest players in the league. This combination will prove scary for opposing teams.

Micah Parsons Becoming the Jack of All Trades

Parsons has been very persistent in elevating his game. He teased fans last month of his plans to add to his game and be able to play eight positions.

"Just playing chess, just being able to move around. I think that's the special ability that I have that I want to incorporate," the 24-year-old said.

"We're doing a lot of special things. I don't want to give a lot away right now. But uh, it's gonna be a really cool year. I'm probably gonna play eight positions this year. So don't even ask me."
