Lakers icon LeBron James is reportedly "growing frustrated" with his superstar teammate Anthony Davis over their pairing in Los Angeles.

CBS Sports NBA Insider Bill Reiter revealed the speculation in the podcast The Zach Gelb Show, where he added that the all-time leading scorer in NBA history is angry and does not believe in his number two guy.

The Lakers are under pressure from James to make the proper moves to make a run for the championship.

Reiter later said there is little chance that Davis will be dealt this offseason. He noted the numerous impressive moves by general manager Rob Pelinka during the trade deadline, which enabled the purple-and-gold franchise to make a deep playoff run in the Western Conference Finals.

A power struggle is said to be going on between James and Pelinka, and the general manager is not willing to bow to the demands of the King, especially dealing with an NBA 75 member in AD.

Anthony Davis Playoff Production Dipped Compared To Title Run

Davis played spectacularly during the Lakers' 2020 championship run in the bubble, averaging 27.7 points in 57% shooting, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.

In this year's postseason, despite being elite on the defensive end, his production on offense dropped to 22.6 points per game in a 52% shooting clip, although he upped his rebound averages to 14.1 RPG.

Playing at the center position this year, he was noticeably exhausted by the end of games this postseason, having to match up with Nikola Jokic, Kevon Looney, and Jaren Jackson Jr.

During the bubble, he played as a power forward and had Dwight Howard and JaVale McGee's presence inside.
