The San Francisco Giants rolled over the struggling Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-3, but pitcher Logan Webb felt more dismay than joy after the victory due to their hosts' fans' behavior.

Webb called out Dodgers supporters who heckled his teammates at many points of the game.

"Yeah, I'm not too happy about that, to be honest," he told Giants beat writer Danny Emerman when asked about the booing.

Teammate infielder Casey Schmitt was the first to go down and earned the ire of Dodgers' fans for taking too long to exit the game. He was hit in the forearm by a pitch.

The next delay was when reliever Scott Alexander hurt his hamstring on a ground ball to first base in the ninth inning.

Bitter fans, a disappointing start to the season

It is no secret that the Giants and Dodgers are bitter rivals, but one will understand the frustrations of the latter's supporters after the struggles the team is going through today.

They had a stellar 2022 season, having won a club-record 111 games. They also did not suffer any defeat until the 33rd game. This season though, is a total opposite. They are currently at 39-33, third behind the Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West standings.

The beating from rivals Giants also rubs salt in the wounds of Dodgers supporters. This is the first winning season by the Giants against their California rivals in 10 years. The worst part is that their head-to-head was concluded on Dodgers' turf and ended in the hosts' blowout.
