Shaun Livingston is set to leave the Warriors' front office after serving as Director of Player Affairs and Engagement for the past three seasons.

The former Warriors guard decided to spend more time with his family and will not live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The 37-year-old signed with Golden State as a player back in 2014. He spent five seasons playing for the Dubs as Stephen Curry's backup and helped the team during their 2015, 2017, and 2018 title runs. Livingston was waived in July 2019, and announced his retirement a few months later.

After a year of time off, Livingston returned to the Warriors in 2020 as part of the front office.

Shaun Livingston Gives Front Office POV on Failed Warriors Title Defense

Livingston earned his fourth NBA title in 2022, his first as an executive.

However, their title defense campaign was largely underwhelming, as they only earned the sixth seed in the Western Conference and experienced an early playoff exit at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Livingston shared the front office's point of view of the 2022-23 Warriors, saying that the team maximized what it had in terms of energy.

He noted that the trust and bond between teammates are crucial for a squad to have a chance for an NBA title.

The soon-to-be former Warriors executive added that some of the trust was lost due to the Draymond Green-Jordan Poole punching incident, which ricocheted throughout the locker room.
