Curry has made Green aware of his pet peeve for the past couple of years.
"Guys holding on to the ball at the end of a quarter so they don't lessen their shooting percentage.. That very thing drives Steph Curry nuts. Steph [is] gonna be very upset if [you're] just holding the ball and not shoot," the brash 33-year-old said.
Green noticed a couple of guys were doing it during Game 3 of the NBA Finals last Wednesday. He suggested that no one cares if a player's shooting percentages drop a little bit during the NBA Playoffs and Finals.

End-of-Quarter Shots Can Significantly Swing Momentum
Green pointed out that Jordan Poole helped them win a Finals game by taking the shot at the end of the quarter.
Poole famously hit two long-range buzzer-beaters at the end of the third quarter in Games 2 and 5.

Green explained that during Game 5, Poole's shot enabled Golden State to take a one-point lead after a mighty run. It was a huge confidence boost for the Warriors, having the lead as they entered the fourth quarter of the crucial Game 5.
On the other hand, not having the lead would feel like a gut punch, especially after making a huge run to claw back into the game.
