Tennis star Novak Djokovic was all praises towards fellow Serbian Nikola Jokic amid a historic playoff run with the Denver Nuggets.
Djokovic sat down in an interview with the Tennis Channel during the French Open, first pointing out that they have the same nickname, Joker.

The tennis great said that he recently watched highlights of Jokic through Instagram via the NBA page, and he was impressed with several shots he made over Anthony Davis and LeBron James during the Western Conference Finals.
The 22-time Grand Slam winner thinks that no one can do what Jokic is doing at the moment.
"Definitely the best basketball player in the world. And I cheer for him greatly, he's an amazing guy, he's the pride of Serbia, and we're so proud of him. We hope that he can win his first ring," the 36-year-old said.
Jokic also had some kind words towards the tennis star after they swept the Lakers last week.
The two-time NBA MVP called Djokovic an ambassador for Serbia and an idol to the kids in the country. He also noted the efforts that Djokovic's foundation has been making and mentioned that the tennis star is someone to be looked up to.
Djokovic was flattered by his compatriot's words, saying he feels the same towards the Nuggets center.
The tennis star also stated that he had just got Jokic's number, which is difficult to get nowadays, and said he would text him soon to thank him for the kind words.
