Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant made cryptic posts on his Instagram Story today featuring photos of his mom, dad, daughter, and himself.

He expressed his love for his family members, writing "love ya" in the first three posts. On the last photo depicting himself giving an interview, he captioned "bye."

Morant flashed a gun for a second time earlier this month, prompting the Grizzlies organization to suspend the star and the league to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.

It has been reported that Morant could be suspended for a significant amount of time and will take a huge financial hit, per ClutchPoints.

Ja Morant Receives Police Welfare Check After Cryptic Posts

Due to the concerning nature of the Grizzlies star's posts, police went to his home in Tennessee to check on him, according to a report by TMZ Sports.

A Shelby County Sheriff's Office spokesperson said Morant is simply "taking a break from social media."

Fortunately, things seem to be alright as of the moment.

"He is fine," the spokesperson further added.

Morant apologized after the second gun incident, recognizing that his words may not mean much at the moment, but he assured that he is committed to working on himself. Ever since the issue, the electrifying guard has stayed silent.

The NBA is investigating the matter, and no final decision has been made regarding Morant's fate.
