Typically, Austin Reaves doesn't give off the appearance of a basketball player. He carries himself with the confidence of an accountant, lacking any noticeable flair. However, everything changed on Thursday night when Reaves caught everyone's attention by showing up to his post-game interview resembling a rock star from the past.

To quote Green Day's iconic opening line from their song "Basket Case" - "Do you have the time to listen to me whine about nothing and everything all at once?" This lyric, released four years before Reaves was born, accurately captures the vibe he exuded during the press conference following the Lakers' close loss to the Nuggets.

With his disheveled hair, black t-shirt, and a slightly dazed expression, Reaves appeared to have just finished crowd surfing at the Vans Warped Tour.

While the Lakers' performance that night was disheartening, with LeBron James being ineffective, D'Angelo Russell seemingly playing without purpose, and Anthony Davis struggling in the paint, Reaves stood out as a shining light.
