Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins will play through a left costal cartilage fracture, which is part of the ribcage, as Golden State looks to extend their season against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Wiggins sustained the injury during their Game 5 victory at Chase Center in San Francisco, which saw him erupt for 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in 36 minutes of play.
The 28-year-old forward was seen warming up ahead of Game 6 while receiving bumps in the chest from Mychel Thompson, brother of his teammate Klay Thompson.
A few moments later, Warriors director of sports medicine and performance Rick Celebrini was looking optimistic while talking to Wiggins.
The former 1st overall pick appeared to have picked up the injury with a little over five minutes remaining in Game 5 during a box out with Lakers forward LeBron James.
Wiggins, a vital contributor for the Warriors due to his two-way game, averaged 17.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 37 games played during the 2022-23 NBA regular season.
Warriors center Kevon Looney suffered a similar injury back in the 2019 NBA Finals, although he stated that "he didn't have to shoot" as much, unlike Wiggins' whose perimeter shooting is key for the Warriors.
The Warriors will attempt to extend their Western Conference Semifinals series against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
