Warriors coach Steve Kerr accused the Lakers of flopping after Game 4, to which Lakers coach Darvin Ham initially declined to engage.
However, during an in-game interview with TNT sideline reporter Chris Haynes, Ham changed his tune and responded by stating that they don't teach flopping and that they teach their players to be forceful and attack the paint.
“We don’t teach flopping. We teach our players to play downhill and attack the paint and be forceful.”

Dennis Schroder Called Out Steve Kerr
Ham seemed annoyed and wasn't the only Lakers member who appeared genuinely irritated by Kerr's flopping critiques. An anonymous "prominent" Lakers player texted Haynes saying, "Let them b---h and complain. It shows weakness and frustration."

Lakers guard Dennis Schroder also called out Kerr, stating that he disagreed with Kerr's comments and that if they set illegal screens, sometimes players need to show them that they are moving on the screen.
Kerr's accusations of flopping gave the Lakers some bulletin board material, which they seemed to take to heart.
While Ham initially declined to engage with Kerr, he eventually responded to defend his team's playing style. The anonymous player who texted Haynes was clearly annoyed by Kerr's comments, and Schroder outright disagreed with them.
The back-and-forth between the coaches and players adds a layer of intrigue to the matchup between the Warriors and the Lakers.
