Two teams at opposite ends of the spectrum will face off this coming Sunday in New Jersey. The Dallas Cowboys have won two games in a row to build a commanding lead atop the NFC East while the New York Giants are languishing at the bottom of that said division. Here's a breakdown of this Cowboys vs Giants matchup.
Dallas Cowboys installed as -10.5 favorites
The Dallas Cowboys moved ever closer to clinching the NFC East after beating the Washington Football Team in Week 14. The Cowboys pulled off a 27-20 victory over their nearest division rivals to extend their lead atop the NFC East standings to three games with four games remaining in their schedule.
Micah Parsons starred for the Cowboys in the Week 14 win, sacking Taylor Heinicke twice and forcing a fumble that was returned for a score. Dallas' defense took center stage in this game, holding Washington scoreless in the opening half. The Cowboys also made a key stop late in the contest, forcing Kyle Allen to fumble the football that ended Washington's late rally.
A growing concern for Dallas, though, heading into Week 15 is the ongoing struggles of Dak Prescott. He completed just 22 of 39 passes for 211 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the win against Washington. He has not been the same since suffering a calf injury in the win against the New England Patriots.
The Cowboys franchise QB has thrown eight touchdown passes and six interceptions in the six games since his return. During that stretch, Prescott has completed 151-of-239 passes for 1,568 yards. That is a far cry from the numbers he posted before the calf injury. He threw for 16 touchdowns and just four interceptions in his first six games this season. Prescott recorded 1,813 passing yards during that span.

New York Giants enter Week 15 as +10.5 underdogs
The Giants' quest to reach the 2021 NFL playoffs got derailed on Sunday as New York suffered a 37-21 loss to the surging Los Angeles Chargers. The Giants had no answer for Justin Herbert, who completed 23 of 31 passes for 275 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Giants dropped to 4-9 for the season with the defeat. They are now in 14th place in the NFC standings, with just four weeks remaining in this campaign. That being said, the Giants still have a shot of reaching the postseason as they trail seventh-placed Washington by just two games heading into Week 15.
Mike Glennon started for the Giants in Week 14 with Daniel Jones still sidelined because of a neck injury. He threw for 191 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the loss to the Chargers. The bad news for the Giants is that Jones will again miss the game against the Cowboys.
Jones, who has thrown for 2,428 yards with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season, underwent tests on Monday and was still not cleared for contact. That means Glennon will once again be New York's starter in Week 15 with Jake Fromm on the bench as his backup.
