The Atlanta Falcons and the Jacksonville Jaguars look to end their two-game losing skids when they square off in Week 12. Here's a breakdown of this Falcons vs Jaguars game to see who has the edge in this matchup.
Atlanta Falcons installed as -2 favorites
The Atlanta Falcons crashed to their second straight loss with a humiliating 25-0 defeat at the hands of the New England Patriots in Week 11. It was a disappointing result for the Falcons, who have now lost four home games this season. They trail the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by three games in the NFC South standings heading into Week 12.
The Falcons will look to get their season back on track this coming Sunday when they travel to Florida to face the Jacksonville Jaguars. For the Falcons to grab the all-important win, they must improve their play on the offensive end. They have managed to score just a single field goal in their last two games, which ended as lopsided defeats to Dallas and New England.
This is the first time since 1987 that Atlanta failed to find the end zone in consecutive games, with the Falcons not scoring a touchdown in 26 offensive possessions. It did not help matters for the Falcons that they were careless with the football, turning the ball over seven times in those two games.
One guy who needs to step up for Atlanta in Week 12 is Kyle Pitts. He has been one of the few bright spots for the Falcons this season, catching 43 passes for 635 yards and scoring through Atlanta's first 10 games.

Jacksonville Jaguars enter Week 12 as +2 underdogs
Just like the Atlanta Falcons, the Jacksonville Jaguars enter this contest on a two-game losing skid. The Jaguars have crashed back to earth following their shock win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 9, dropping two straight games against the Indianapolis Colts and the San Francisco 49ers.
The Jaguars failed to get it going against the Niners, who ran 33 of the game's first 37 plays. San Francisco dominated right from the get-go, even registering more first downs than the Jaguars had total yards midway through the second quarter.
Jacksonville finished the game with just 200 yards, tied for fifth-fewest in Jaguars' history. In this contest, Trevor Lawrence looked out of sorts, completing just 16 of 25 passes for 158 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Jaguars will have their work cut out for them in Week 12 as they will face another NFC team in the Atlanta Falcons. The Jaguars have lost 14 straight games against NFC teams, a streak that spans four seasons. Jacksonville is 7-44 in its last 51 meetings with NFC opponents, including 0-3 this season.
To make matters worse for the Jags, they will be without wide receiver Jamal Agnew who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a hip injury.
