There is just no stopping Golden State right now. The Warriors extended their winning streak to six games with a convincing 123-110 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. Andrew Wiggins starred for the Warriors, who improved their regular season record to an NBA-best 10-1 slate.

Wiggins made the play of the game during that period, driving the baseline before unleashing a powerful one-handed jam over Karl-Anthony Towns that sent the Warriors fans in attendance into a frenzy. Wiggins was ecstatic about that poster dunk, telling reporters that it was better coming against his former teammate Towns.
Wiggins went toe-to-toe with Anthony Edwards, who scored a career-high 48 points. Edwards' scoring explosion went for naught, however, as the Wolves slumped to their sixth straight loss. Four other players scored in double figures for the Warriors, namely: Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, Kevon Looney and Otto Porter Jr.
Curry followed up his 50-point showing against the Atlanta Hawks with a 25-point performance against the Wolves. Looney was a beast down low as he registered a double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Poole and Porter added 14 and 10 points, respectively, for the Warriors.

Draymond Green injures thigh in Warriors' win over Wolves
The victory came at a huge price for the Warriors, however, as Draymond Green exited the game with a right thigh contusion. Green suffered the injury during the third quarter of Wednesday's contest when Jaden McDaniels kneed him on his thigh. He went to the locker room to get checked out before being ruled out for the rest of the game.

Steve Kerr said after the game that Green's quad contusion was pretty nasty and that he is questionable for Friday's showdown with the Chicago Bulls. Green recorded seven points, six assists and five rebounds in 21 minutes of action against the Wolves. He has been a vital cog to the Warriors' success this season, providing the intensity on the defensive end.
With Green possibly sidelined for the next few games, the onus is on the other Warriors to step up in his absence. Looney said that Green is a tough guy to replace because of his energy and leadership. The Warriors are a deep team, though, and Looney is adamant that Porter, Toscano-Anderson, Bjelica and himself will be able to hold down the fort until Green gets back.
