Even though the Bulldogs gave up their fifth touchdown of the year in the win against Florida, Georgia remains the nation's leading defensive team. They have allowed an average of just 6.6 points per game this campaign.
The Bulldogs have now won 12 straight games since getting steamrolled by the Gators in Jacksonville a year ago. In that contest, Georgia looked out of sorts because of its injury-plagued defense, allowing 571 total yards against Florida. They made amends a year later, holding Florida scoreless through the first three quarters in their Week 9 clash.
