Tanker Chase Kalisz handed Team USA its first gold medal after toping the Men's 400m Individual Medley Final at theTokyo Aquatics Centre in Tokyo, Japan. Kalisz clocked the best time of 4:09.42. Teammate jay Litherland bagged the silver medal after clocking 4:10.28 while Australia's Brendon Smith finished with the bronze with a time of 4:10.38.
