After a promising rookie season, Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Dion Waiters may soon find himself with another team if the Cavs front-office can find a team willing to trade for him.

According to ESPN.com, sources close to the Cavaliers reveal that Waiters is being shopped by his team with three clubs having been linked to a possible trade- the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers. The Cavaliers are reportedly targeting Iman Shumpert, Luol Deng or Evan Turner from these teams. It is not known how interested the teams are in trading away their players in exchange for Waiters.

The sophomore shooting guard was the no. 4 overall pick in 2012 but has had a sour relationship with some of his teammates, including franchise star Kyrie Irving. Although Waiters has not publicly demanded a trade, he reportedly mentioned his willingness to be trade during a meeting with coach Mike Brown and general manager Chris Grant.

After a loss to the Miami Heat this week where he scored a season high 24 points, he dismissed the trade rumors as "non-sense." He added: "there's been things thrown out there that haven't been true at all."

The Cavaliers are off to a poor 4-11 start despite a massive build-up in the offseason including the signing of former All-Star Andrew Bynum. The team has been plagued by internal squabbling, with Waiters reportedly having a falling out with several teammates like Irving and forward Tristan Thompson. Waiters is also said to be envious of the management's treatment of Irving, giving the point guard enough leeway despite his poor shot selection and defensive effort.
