American Youtuber Jake Paul spoiled the boxing debut of former NBA player Nate Robinson after knocking him out in the second round of their six-round cruiserweight fight, an undercard to the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view event at the Staples Center in California.

The gap in experience proved to be too much for the 5-foot-9 Robinson who caved in on the floor with 1:35 remaining in the second round.

Paul launched a cold-blooded right hand straight to Robinson's chin that left him unconscious for at least a minute before coming back to his senses.

The smaller Robinson was no match for the towering Paul as he fell on the canvass twice heading to the second round. The three-time Slam Dunk contest champion threw short-handed punches on the approaching opponent but could not connect them, losing control of the game tempo.

The final punches stats proved to be a weak bearing of the match's success even as Robinson outsmarted Paul at 10-8.

However, the YouTube star was able to launch his punches more effectively. His eight blows paved the way for him to defeat the 36-year-old Robinson in convincing fashion.

The former NBA player was left on his own devices in the first round, as Paul caught him off-guard with a nerve-wracking shot to the back of his head, which was signaled by Robinson to be an illegal rabbit punch. The referee reviewed it, but it was a clean blow after the assessment.

With the win, Paul currently holds a 2-0 record with two knockouts. He started his professional debut as a boxer in January.

The YouTuber praised Robinson's courage saying that the small competitor had the balls to compete with him. He also silenced his critics with this trending victory.

His previous match against Ali Loui Al-Fakhri, also known as AnEsonGib, showed that he was all business from the get-go. Paul zoomed in the battlefield, sending the British YouTuber to a colossal collapse with three knockdowns. It prompted an easy triumph for the American as the referee immediately stopped the fight in just two minutes under.

The controversial fight between Robinson and Paul started in May 2020 when the former NBA guard called out Paul after his bout against AnEsonGib. By July, the two agreed to arrange the battle as an undercard to the Tyson-Jones legendary match.

"I'm putting my everything on the line for you. Let's get it done. It's that simple," Robinson told TMZ Sports and added that he was a top athlete.

Robinson may be aggressive in delivering random blows to Paul as he was an offensive threat in the drive during his basketball years. However, it would not change the fact that an all-attack plan will not win all matches in an instant. His quick punches to Paul throughout the rounds proved to be stoppable at the very least.

The last time Robinson played in the NBA was in 2015 with New Orleans Pelicans before heading overseas to play in Lebanon.

On top of that, Paul stated that he has been training all year round to fight against much stronger men with the likes of Connor McGregor and Dillon Danis.

"I want to knock both of them out. I want to be in this sport for a long time. I'm in love with this so why not?" Paul said.

Meanwhile, Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. ended their clash in a draw after a grueling eight rounds of their legendary comeback battle.
