Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET, the Chicago Blackhawks (18-4-4, 40 points) and the Dallas Stars (12-9-2, 26 points) faceoff live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas in the second of five meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. Chicago fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action on 720 WGN while Dallas fans can do the same on Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket.

Chicago continues a long seven-game road trip that has saw them win four straight games while Dallas sits in last place in the Central Division despite winning 12 of 23 games thus far. The Blackhawks defeated the Stars 5-2 in Dallas on Nov. 9.

The Blackhawks completed a sweep through western Canada with a 3-2 win over the Calgary Flames on Wednesday in a game that saw Antti Raanta earn the first win of his NHL career.

"I thought he played really good," said forward Patrick Kane, who scored the winning goal with 18 seconds left in regulation, according to NHL.com. "Both goals he didn't really have a chance on and he made numerous saves that he's not really expected to make, but at the same time, he made them."

Kane leads the Blackhawks with 28 points off of 15 goals and 13 assists and is on a 12-game point streak while captain Jonathan Toews has 12 tallies and 12 helpers for 24 points and Patrick Sharp has found the back of the net nine times and added 13 assists for 22 points.

The Stars lit up the Ducks for five third period goals en route to a 6-3 victory on Tuesday but the team has had its fair share of tough luck thus far this season and will be well rested after two days off.

"As I said the day before it's not the physical thing, it's the mental burn that is really tough," coach Lindy Ruff told NHL.com at practice Wednesday. "You have to prepare mentally every day and the day before a game. Sometimes if you have that two or three days before a game where you are not preparing it keeps you a lot fresher."

The Stars have been paced by captain Jamie Benn, who has 24 points off of seven tallies and 17 helpers while Tyler Seguin has lit the lamp 12 times and added 11 assists for 23 points and Alex Chiasson has found the back of the net seven times and added seven assists for 14 points.

In between the pipes, Kari Lehtonen is 10-5-2 with a 2.28 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage while Corey Crawford is 16-4-3 in between the pipes for the defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks with a 2.43 GAA and a .911 save percentage.

The Blackhawks look to continue their strong road trip while the Stars hope that their goal scoring in the third period Tuesday will translate into tonight's game when the puck is dropped at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
