Lindsey Vonn says she's back on the slopes after partially tearing her already surgically repaired right knee in a training session earlier this month.

According to USA TODAY Sports, the reigning Olympic downhill champion and girlfriend of world top-ranked golfer Tiger Woods posted on Facebook on Thanksgiving that she has "returned to the snow."

The newspaper adds Vonn raves she is "happy to be on the mountain doing what I love--- skiing!!" She also attached a picture of herself on a slope in Vail.

The 29-year-old veteran skier was injured while training in Copper Mountain last week and has already confirmed to USA TODAY she plans to skip races scheduled for this week at Beaver Creek to give her knee more time to rest. Some are speculating she hopes to return for an event in Lake Louise, Alberta, on Dec. 6.

The newspaper reports Vonn still hasn't competed in an official competition since tearing ligaments in her right knee during a high-speed accident at the world championships last February.

Woods and Vonn began publicly dating in early 2012 and have been spotted all around the country together over the last several months with Vonn telling several media outlets she feels the two are truly compatible given both their competitive natures.

Woods' marriage to first wife, Elin Nordegren, ended amid widespread allegation of infidelity on his part.
