The game can be live streamed here. Ottawa fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action by adjusting their radios to TSN 1200 while Washington fans can do the same on WFED 1500.
The Senators enter play on the outside looking in on positioning for the Stanley Cup Playoffs while Washington is two points out of first place in the Metropolitan Division.
The Capitals dropped their third straight game Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs in a shootout.
"We get lots of chances, [the] power play had lots of good opportunities to score," captain Alex Ovechkin said per NHL.com. "Five-on-five, especially in the third period, I don't think they had any chances out there. [James] Reimer made good saves, kept them in the game, but you can see if we get the chance to shoot the puck we don't have [anybody] in front of the net."
Ovechkin was the first to 20 goals this season in the NHL and has added seven assists to lead the Caps with 27 points while Nicklas Backstrom has found the back of the net five times and added 19 helpers for 24 points and Mikhail Grabovski has lit the lamp seven times and added 12 assists for 19 points.
The Senators are coming off of a 4-1 loss at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday.
"We play good games," Jason Spezza said via NHL.com. "We play bad games and we don't play enough good games in a row. We tend to play too many bad games."
Spezza is tied for third on the team with 20 points off of 10 goals and 10 assists while Bobby Ryan has 11 tallies and 11 helpers for 22 points and Erik Karlsson leads the team with 24 points off of seven goals and 17 assists.
Craig Anderson has backstopped the Senators in 15 games and is 5-7-2 with a 3.31 goals-against average and a .900 save percentage while Braden Holtby has minded the net for the Capitals in 19 games and is 10-7-1 with a 2.59 GAA and a .925 save percentage.
The Senators hope to bounce back from a loss Sunday while the Capitals try to avoid a fourth straight loss when these teams hit the ice at Verizon Center tonight.
