Today at 2:45 p.m. ET Paris Saint-Germain, which is running away with Group C of the UEFA Champions League will take on Olympiakos at Parc Des Princes in a match that can be live streamed here.
Olympiakos may be in second place in Group C but PSG's quality of play has far outstripped the Greek side's. PSG's goal differential is plus-11, while Olympiakos' ratio is just plus-1. In their first meeting PSG took out Olympiakos 4-1, which Michel said his team hasn't forgotten.
"We are very close to qualifying," Michel told www.Olympiacos.org. "We just need one more victory. We have two games left and we need to deliver. I think to have collected seven points in four games is good but we need to finish the job and qualify."
Then he got to discussing PSG, saying, "However, from what I remember, we played a great game against PSG and despite this, we got nothing except a heavy loss."
PSG has been on point of late, and not just in the Champions League. They routed Reims 3-0 in Ligue 1, and coach Laurent Blanc said that match served as good preparation for today's clash. "The team was focused, determined, competitive and took its chances," Blanc said. "It is an excellent result. Now we will turn our attentions to the match against Olympiakos. The best way to prepare for that game was to win."
A win or even a draw will clinch the top spot in Group C for Paris Saint-Germain, while Olympiakos can lose their spot to Benfica, or even Anderlecht in a miracle scenario.
The key to earning a victory today will be containing PSG forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has found the back of the net seven times in Champions League play.
Conversely, Konstantinos Mitroglou will be the clear focus of PSG's defense. Mitroglou has scored 17 goals in 15 games for Olympiakos, including three in the Champions League.
