Among all Marvel's television series released on Netflix, the latest released, 'Iron Fist', received lukewarm response from all. It is obvious that after the success of 'Daredevil', 'Jessica Jones' and 'Luke Cage', Marvel was not hoping to secure such desultory response.

According to Express, "Iron Fist" is renewed for Season 2. Release date of the show is not confirmed but reports suggest the "Iron Fist" Season 2 might come by the end of 2018.

Screenrant also indicated that "Iron Fist" Season 2 will come. Based on the same character name comic, "Iron Fist" was created by Scott Buck for Netflix. It was premiered on March 15 this year and the 13-episode series released on Netflix on March 17. Also, before the second season happens, the character is going to feature in another Marvel series, "The Defenders", which is likely to premiere on August 18, 2017.

Fans can expect Finn Jones to reprise his role of "Iron Fist" along with Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum and Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum in the "Iron Fist" Season 2. Moreover, Wai Ching Ho can be expected to feature in his antagonistic role of Gao again.

Although, there are no updates regarding the 'would be' plot of "Iron Fist" Season 2, fans can assume that it might show the fallout of the lead character from the mystical secret city where "Iron Fist" received his training. What Marvel and Netflix have to keep in mind are the complaints of viewers who criticized the slow pace and corporate drama setup of the show. These glitches must be sorted out for making the second season successful.

Various theories are being speculated which could drive the "Iron Fist" Season 2. The ones which are prominent propose the return of Bakuto, face-off between "Iron Fist" along with Luke Cage with different villains, villain Gao turning Danny's ally and many more. What is most expected is the trailer of "Iron Fist" Season 2 which could give us a hint about what all fans are going to witness.
