Jeremy Lin, Brook Lopez and four other Brooklyn Nets players are ruled out for their final game of the season on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls. The Nets are giving the Bulls a big hand in their quest to make the playoffs.

The Nets announced on Tuesday that they are going to rest Jeremy Lin, Brook Lopez and Trevor Booker against the Bulls. Three other players are sideline with injuries including Sean Kilpatrick, Quincy Acy and Joe Harris, per ESPN.

Kilpatrick has been dealing with a hamstring injury, something Jeremy Lin is familiar this season. On the other hand, Acy has a sprained ankle while Harris is out because of a shoulder injury. The Nets are using the final game of the season to evaluate all of their young players while making sure that Lopez and Lin are healthy heading into the offseason.

"Our young guys are trying to prove themselves. That helps. They're fighting for minutes. They're fighting for contracts. They're fighting for their future. So, we have a nice mix of young kids that are trying to come up and then a veteran group that cares a lot," Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson said, via the New York Post.

Players like Spencer Dinwiddie, K.J. McDaniels, Archie Goodwin, Justin Hamilton and Andrew Nicholson are going to get a lot of minutes against the Bulls. It could be an easy win for Chicago, which means they will make the playoffs with a win.

The Bulls are fighting the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat for the final two spots in the Eastern Conference. With Jeremy Lin, Brook Lopez and four other players out for the Nets, some Miami fans are accusing them of cheating.

According to The Sun-Sentinel, the Heat will get knocked out of the playoffs if all three team wins on Wednesday since the Bulls own the tiebreaker against them. Miami can get in if they win and either the Pacers or Bulls lose. As for Jeremy Lin and the Nets, they are already preparing for the offseason.
