Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET, the Minnesota Wild (15-5-4, 34 points) and the St. Louis Blues (16-3-3, 35 points) hit the ice live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis for the first of five meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. Minnesota fans can hear all the action on KFAN 100.3 FM while St. Louis fans can do the same on NewsRadio 1120 KMOX.

Both of these teams enter having enjoyed great Novembers as they are two of the NHL's hottest teams this month. Minnesota is 9-1-1 this month while St. Louis is 9-2-1.

The Blues dominated the Dallas Stars en route to a 6-1 victory on Saturday night and will look to continue their rapid productivity that has seen the team rank first in the league with a plus-29 goal differential.

"Through the whole lineup, everybody was solid," center T.J. Oshie told NHL.com "When we can go at them in waves, I think that's when we're at our best."

Oshie is third on the team with 20 points off of four goals and 16 assists while David Backes is second with 22 points off of 10 tallies and 12 helpers and Alex Steen paves the way with 17 goals and 10 assists for 27 points.

Niklas Backstrom took over for Josh Harding Saturday after he was injured in warm-ups, and backstopped the Wild to a 3-2 shootout victory over the Winnipeg Jets.

"You have to be ready all the time," Backstrom said afterward per NHL.com, "and you never know what's going to happen, so you have to find a way to be ready and be at your best."

Harding didn't make the trip for Minnesota, so Backstrom is expected to start and is 2-1-2 with a 3.03 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage. Harding took over for Backstrom after he went down with an injury, but now the roles are reversed. For St. Louis, Jaroslav Halak is slated to start and is 12-3-2 with a 2.34 GAA and a .906 save percentage.

Halak will look to stymie a Minnesota lineup that is led by captain Zach Parise, who has 22 points off of 11 goals and 11 assists while Mikko Koivu has found the twine five times and added 16 assists for 21 points and Jason Pominville has lit the lamp a team-high 13 times and added four helpers for 17 points.

Two of November's hottest teams go head-to-head when the Wild and Blues square off tonight at Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
