Today at 4:25 p.m. ET, the Indianapolis Colts (7-3) and Arizona Cardinals (6-4) square off live from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. The game can be live streamed here. Indianapolis fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action by tuning their radios to WLHK 97.1 while Arizona fans can do the same on KTAR-FM 92.3.
Arizona head coach Bruce Arians looks to lead his team to their fourth straight victory when he takes on Indianapolis for the first time since leaving them for his first head coaching job. He admits there will be some emotions attached to facing his old team.
"The prep will be easy," Arians told the Cardinals' official website. "It's seeing them that will be emotionally involved because it was such an emotional year last year. You'll get through that hopefully in warm-ups."
The Colts hold a three-game lead in the AFC South and Colts head coach Chuck Pagano is grateful for what Arians did for his team last year heading into the contest.
"You can't put a price tag on it," Pagano said of Arians' influence, according to ESPN. "If I've said it once, I've said it 1,000 times, again what he did not only for myself but for this organization, our players, coaches ... him leading the charge. Again, very, very grateful, obviously."
Arizona will hope that quarterback Carson Palmer is on the verge of turning it around after throwing for 419 yards and adding two touchdowns and no interceptions in last week's 27-14 win at the Jacksonville Jaguars. Palmer is 224-for-358 (62.6%) for 2,573 yards with 14 touchdowns and 15 picks thus far this season. 13 of his interceptions came in the first seven games.
"The things that have been biting him have been just one or two poor decisions during the ball game, or getting hit as he's throwing," Arians said via ESPN. "We were able to eliminate those."
The Colts have won three of their last four games, but have started out slow and fell behind early in the last three games. Indianapolis pulled off a 24-point second half to erase a 14-0 first quarter deficit en route to a 30-27 victory against the Tennessee Titans last week.
Andrew Luck has gone 206-for-347 (59.4%) this season for 2,430 yards with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions thus far this season.
Pagano has instilled confidence in running back Trent Richardson, who has rushed for 272 yards and added two touchdowns in the last six games since being acquired from the Cleveland Browns for a total of 377 yards on 127 carries with two touchdowns this season between both teams.
It'll be an emotional afternoon when Arians leads the Cardinals against Pagano and his former team in the Colts today in Arizona.
