At 1:00 p.m. ET the Chicago Bears (6-4), who are surprisingly succeeding sans starting quarterback Jay Cutler will take their show on the road to St. Louis where they'll face the Rams (4-6) in the Edward Jones Dome on Fox. Live stream the game here; Bears fans can listen to the radio broadcast on 105.9 The Zone, while Rams fans can hear it all on 101 ESPN.

Josh McCown has been stunningly effective in Cutler's stead, but is steadfastly adamant that when Cutler's ankle is right he will resume his role as the starting quarterback. "I'm the backup quarterback on this team, and the way that I serve my team is to play when the starter's not healthy," McCown said. "Jay's our starting quarterback. There's no doubt about that."

The Bears have been decimated by injuries on both sides of the ball, but have managed to win despite them, highlighting the work of rookie head coach Marc Trestman. "I like the fact that our coaches are embracing the development of our young players," Trestman said. "We're not spending time thinking about the loss of some of the players that we've lost. We've taken all that energy into building the best defense we can to play good team football."

Speaking of injuries, the Rams are also without their own quarterback Sam Bradford. Backup Kellen Clemens has been far less effective than McCown, but expects a spike in play after the bye week.

"I think I've gotten more comfortable with each rep, both in practice and in games," Clemens said. "I think I've gotten more comfortable each week, and hopefully we can continue to make plays and be effective on offense." He would also be well-served to feed rookie wideout Tavon Austin like he did two weeks ago when they connected for two long touchdowns.
