Last week, Microsoft Office 365 faced another major outage. Tech Company still has no idea about the cause behind this issue. Users were having difficulty using Microsoft's online service on March 21.

As written in MSPmentor, Microsoft reported that all systems were running normally as of Wednesday at 5.50 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time. Huge parts of Microsoft's online services were hit by an outage that denied end users access to Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive, Xbox Live, Outlook, Hotmail, Windows Store and other applications.

This was the second outage in March and Microsoft is still looking into it. Downdetector.com reported the outage after it logged many reports throughout the United States and Western Europe. Microsoft Office 365 Service health web page acknowledged the issue that users were facing difficulty signing into OneDrive.

Advisory said that some users were also unable to access their OneDrive content even after signing in to the service. Users were able to reload the page and make another attempt successfully as the issue was intermittent. In case the problem occurs again, users can check the status of Microsoft Office 365's Service Health page.

Microsoft confessed that previous attempt to correct the problem was not completely successful. "We've determined that the previously resolved issue had some residual impact to the service configuration for OneDrive," Microsoft said. "We're performing an analysis of the affected systems to determine what further steps are needed for full recovery." Users were unable to log into Microsoft Office 365 and OneDrive and were frustrated because of that.

Later that day, Microsoft confirmed that Outlook and all its other email services started functioning. Thousands of users from UK, Europe, and the United States reported issues accessing Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, OneDrive and Xbox Live. Many were unable to login to their email and some were even unable to access the website at all. Microsoft is currently resolving the issue and hopes that everything will be over soon.
