The universe is once again in danger of total destruction in "Dragon Ball Super" and it's up to Goku and his gang to save the world. The current arc of the anime focuses on the upcoming Tournament of Power and Goku's exploits to recruit Universe 7's members.

Unfortunately for everyone, winning the tournament will be a tall task even if the strongest fighters from Universe 7 will participate. It was recently revealed on "Dragon Ball Super" that Universe 7 has one of the lowest mortal levels across all universes with a rating of 3.18. Only Universe 9 has a lower mortal level than them with a rating of 1.86.

This means that despite all the arduous battles Goku and everyone faced throughout the series, everything now seems insignificant. The revelation showed that there are other universes that have double the mortal rating of Universe 7 and thus significantly stronger fighters in "Dragon Ball Super" than Goku. On the other hand universes 1, 5, 8, and 12 have scores of 7 which exempts them from participating in the Tournament of Power. These universes will have fighters that are stronger than Goku himself.

Meanwhile, besides Universe 7 and 9, the ratings for the remaining universes are still unspecified. But it is likely that these universes will have scores that are close to 7. Goku and his team will have to fight the fighters from these universes and should defeat them because otherwise, Universe 7 will be destroyed. Only the last standing universe will be saved from the impending destruction.

Looking at Universe 7's roster, only Goku and Vegeta has a chance of evenly fighting with the best fighters "Dragon Ball Super" has to offer. Although the team could get by with teamwork and chemistry, it can only do so much against powerful fighters.

But like most Dragon Ball sagas, a new power is just waiting to be unleashed as a last ditch effort to overcome insurmountable odds. Fans can expect Goku and Vegeta to reveal a new form of Super Saiyan in order to win the tournament in "Dragon Ball Super."

Meanwhile, Gohan still remains a wildcard but still has the possibility of fulfilling his true potential as most powerful Saiyan in "Dragon Ball Super". Fans may see a repeat of using his untapped power like in the Cell saga. In relation to that, it was reported that creator Akira Toriyama originally planned Gohan to be the main protagonist. So we may see that finally happening in "Dragon Ball Super."
