Jeremy Lin and the Brooklyn Nets are looking for their eighth win in the month of March on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. If the Nets get the victory, they will have a chance to finish March with a .500 record.

The Nets defeated the struggling Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night at Philips Arena. Jeremy Lin and Brook Lopez came up big for Brooklyn as they won their seventh game in March to put their total for the season at 16 wins.

Jeremy Lin scored 19 points, grabbed four rebounds, dished out eight assists with two steals and one block. Brook Lopez added 23 points and seven rebounds while Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, KJ McDaniels and Spencer Dinwiddie provided support, per NBA.com.

The Nets' bench played a big part in the 107-92 win over the Hawks. They outscored Atlanta's bench 46-7 that was the difference maker in the game. Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson also gave some credit to Jeremy Lin, who executed the pick and roll effectively and minimized the turnovers, in an interview with Reuters after the game.

"We haven't been in that situation a lot. Jeremy helped matters a lot, milking the clock, taking a little better care of the ball, knowing when to get in the pick and roll," Atkinson said.

The Nets have improved since Jeremy Lin returned to the lineup after the All-Star break. He has been a positive addition to Brooklyn and they could have had a better record if he was not injured for the majority of the season.

Jeremy Lin and the Nets are looking to finish the month of March on a strong note and finish the regular season with more than 20 wins. If they can continue to play well, execute perfectly on offense and play solid defensively, they can even finish the season with more wins than the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Nets will face the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday at the Barclays Center while visiting the struggling Detroit Pistons on Thursday. If Jeremy Lin and the Nets win both games, they are going to finish March with .500 record, even better than the Cleveland Cavaliers.
